Spring is often a season of renewal. A time when we think about new beginnings and envision what we want in life.
Sorting your finances looks different for everyone. However, regardless of your life stage—whether you’re just starting your career or are fast approaching retirement—setting aside time to review your pension can make a huge difference to your future.
Here’s some useful things you can do to keep your retirement savings in shape:
1. Have you changed your address?
You must notify us of your new address in writing. You can either email Payroll at ukpayroll@abbott.com, phone on 0333 1230175, or write to them at Payroll Department, Abbott Laboratories Ltd, Sovereign House, 1-2 Bingham Road, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3SU.
Make sure you also include the address we previously had on record for you so we can verify it.
2. Protect your loved ones
Fill out, or update, your ‘Expression of Wish’, this tells us who you’d like to benefit from any money payable when you die.

Complete the form.
Save your completed form, and send it back to us:
- By post at Abbott Laboratories Pensions Department, Abbott House, Vanwall Business Park, Maidenhead, SL6 4XE; or
- By email at ukpensions@abbott.com (if you are comfortable with personal information about yourself and your dependants being sent electronically).
